Set on 10 acres in rural Allendale Township, Lazy K Kennels offers your dog a comfortable place to stay and play. Your pet will feel right at home in our large indoor facility, located directly on our home property.
Our spacious kennels offer plenty of room for both exercise and rest. Our personal care offers lots of individual attention. And our commitment to cleanliness, safety, and satisfaction offers you peace of mind.
Here at Lazy K Kennels, we love dogs, and we know dogs. Having spent 10 years raising quality Golden Retrievers, right here at home, we know what it takes to give the best care. Our mission is to provide a trusted place in our community where dogs are cared for like family, when their families can’t be there.

Holidays
Because of limited space we are not able to provide daycare on holidays. 14 days notice is required to shorten or cancel a stay on a holiday. Shorter notice or no-show will be charged for the full booking (Holidays include Easter, spring break, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.)
Health
Please do not bring your dog if exhibiting indications of communicable disease or parasitic infection. Dogs over 6 months must have proof of rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP, influenza vaccine, negative fecal test and must be on flea and tick prevention medication. Puppies under 6 months must have proof of a clear/negative fecal test and a copy of current vet records. Required documentation may be sent via digital copy or you may bring in a paper copy at drop off.
Food & Medication
If you bring your own food, please separate it into clearly labeled baggies (1 baggie =1 meal). We accommodate any type of diet and have a fridge and freezer, if needed. Food and water bowls will be provided. Necessary topical or oral medications and supplements can be given upon request.
